Beyond the Box: A Campaign for Sustainable Cardboard Boxes

Here at ASC Direct, we love celebrating all things sustainable. We’ve made it our mission as a leading cardboard box manufacturer to do our part in helping the environment. We do this in a number of ways, but the main one is the production of environmentally-friendly packaging. In fact, all of our corrugated cardboard is FSC Certified and biodegradable meaning the paper we use is obtained ethically and sustainably.

As a company, we also like to support other causes that promote our mission for a cleaner environment. We have signed up for One Tree Planted and recently wrote about our sponsorship of Mermaid Atlantic as they compete in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. That’s why, when we heard about Beyond the Box, we knew we had to share their mission with our customers.

What is Beyond the Box?

Beyond the Box provides a one-stop information hub that helps businesses and individuals make more informed decisions on sustainable and eco-friendly packaging choices. Full of ideas and expert advice, Beyond the Box aims to inform the nation and get more people thinking about packaging and how we can make better choices for the environment.

With a particular push for cardboard packaging, Beyond the Box is brought to you by the Confederation of Paper Industries (a leading trade association that represents the UK’s paper-based industries). As experts in cardboard, their website provides everything consumers and businesses need to know about the material, including how to recycle cardboard, other uses and understanding more about how packaging is made and what it means for the environment.
